This past weekend (6/27), I went to an event called Sneak Attack. It was held in DC at Penn Social, and it was my first time attending an event of the kind. What sneak attack is, is simply a sneaker convention. It was a chance for young entrepreneurs to try to sell their items, whether it be clothing (personal lines or vintage pieces) sneakers, and accessories.
I must say I was very impressed by the event held at Penn Social. Very well organized, the event with off without a hitch. With DJ sets from Mista Selecta and DJ Alizay, to the food being offered there was pretty much everything you needed at the event. There were retro Jordan’s, the DMV favorite foamposite and there was even a red October sighting. Vendors did a great job of showcasing their goods and talking their items up to potential buyers.
The event was also a pretty good networking opportunity for folks to meet new people. The prices that people were selling there shoes for were pretty reasonable as well. Overall the event was very well put together, and a very good experience. Check out some shots from the event below (all belong to @bbgpsu14). To learn more about sneak attack, follow them on twitter here and check out there shots from the event there as well.
